Safety Information
For the health and safety of you, your family, the moving crew and our team, Essential Next Steps is closely following guidelines put in place by the CDC (How to Protect Yourself and Others) and State and Local guidelines.
We are also taking extra safety measures, including:
Wearing gloves and masks
Practicing social distancing - maintaining at least six feet from each other
Offering disposable single use moving pads
Wiping down all high-touch areas
Practicing frequent and thorough hand hygiene, washing hands for 20 seconds, and/or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
Taking temperatures
Sick or symptomatic employees stay home
Handling paperwork remotely
Disinfecting moving van and equipment
For our clients, we recommend:
Disinfecting and wiping down furniture before the move
Disinfecting your new home before settling in
Utilizing only new boxes and packing materials
Wearing masks and/or practicing social distancing while we are in your home with you
Notifying Essential Next Steps if anyone in the household has been diagnosed with Covid 19, is experiencing symptoms, or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive
